Art Briles Attempts to Bring a Downpour of Athletic Precipitation

Tonight I’ll be attending Baylor’s first football game of the season against number 23, Wake Forest. If you can’t make it but really care what happens, here you’ll find a menagerie of bear related blogs - one of which has been established for the sole purpose of live blogging the games.

If that doesn’t interest you, and you liked the resourceful snorkeler a few posts back, I guarantee this video will be something you enjoy. I like to call it, "Wacoan Goes to Florida and Meets Tree."

First Post as a 6Q

I got through my first day back at law school, the second day is half way over, and here is a partial screen shot from page 11 of the most recent Hankamer viewbook. Not sure how the three are related but I have a new found disdain for blogging and pictures are easier than words.

For those that care about my transition back to law school, it’s been relatively easy. The classes make more sense after my stint at the business school / working for the summer, and I stopped using my computer in class under the assumption I’ll pay more attention.* We'll see how it goes but with most of my friends in PC, there is a good chance I'll stay out of trouble.**

*The decision to stop using a computer was made prior to discovering the computer ban for 1Qs and PC students.

**A far cry from my first days of law school.

Prof. Contracts Suffers Liquidated Damages (HA!!)

“It was a hazardous situation,” Kerwin said. “If they had slipped or tried to have gotten out on their own, they very easily could’ve been swept away."

. . . Explaining why this local gentleman wore fins.

The full, incredible, fantastic, WacoTrib photo gallery is here. Enjoy*.

*I'm not sure I'd laugh if this happened to me.

Blogging and Life-Having Are Mutually Exclusive

Since the last time I added words to this completely forsaken website, I wrapped up the internship, went on a father-son fishing trip, moved out of the DISH housing, drove back to Texas, flew out to California, played some golf, watched the Olympics, did the Hollywood thing, flew back to Texas, hung out in Houston, played some more golf, and finally, today, drove back to Waco.

When school starts again next Monday, I’ll probably continue using this blog as a proxy for speaking with my family and studying, but until then, I wouldn’t expect much.
