Baylor Police Live Happy Lives
I have it on good authority that two people were escorted out of the law school at 3 AM following a run in with Baylor cops; a run in not unlike the ones from my youth:
Officer: You can't be here, the law school closes at 2.
Student: But we're studying for finals.
Officer: Please, don't resist and just let us do our job.
Student: But we've always studied here until late.
Officer: You do something often enough and you're going to get caught. Now let's get moving.
So yea. That's one of the lamest stories ever and if you're the kind of guy that studies late into the night with a three-pound bag of coke hidden somewhere in your anus . . . I'd be careful about that. That's a lot of coke to be putting in one anus.

My stories are only as reliable as their sources but in this case, my source is a man known for his strong moral character and his ability to play the viola.
If he says he got kicked out of the school, I believe him.
you should let BC tell his version of what really happened. it's funnier. and more dialogue...involving the cop trying to say MBA students were allowed past hours but not law students...

The parking Nazis were out this afternoon ticketing people as well.
We definitely needed that. The parking lot was almost an entire 20 percent full, so it's important they are there for us regulating.
I used to read Evidence at 4:00am in my law review office overlooking the Brazos. I saw a skunk once. Then again, maybe he was undercover.
I have to agree i think it is crazy we can not study here 24/7, and especially during finals time. And i also think it is not fair that the only people who can get 24 hour access to the building is law review (and i am on law review)... we all have to study especially during finals/PC/BAR!!

I heard BC punched a police officer in the face and told him that's how MBA students roll. Any truth do this?
I would think any amount of coke in the anus would constitute "a lot of coke" in the anus. At least it's more than I would be comfortable with. Then again, Swanburg seems to have more drug mule experience than I.
1. Baker, how much coke WOULD you be comfortable with in your anus?
2. Yeah, we really need the building open 24 hours during finals time. Surely we can get at least the hours the undergrad library building gets the rest of the year.
You know, that was the second time I've been kicked out by the fuzz in the wee hours of the morning. As the Dude says, this agression will not stand, man. We really need to take this up with the administration... regardless of our status on law review, we really should be granted 24/7 access to this place. Student representatives / faculty who may peruse this blog take note...
Oh... and for the record, BC's Easy-E-esque defiance of the police was quite valiant. The only thing missing was a 40 in one hand and a glock in the other. Not that I condone having either in the law school (faculty who may peruse this blog take note...)
