We Don’t Need Help Losing
Being a former Math-alete, I know some things . . . one of which is addition. So when I read today’s e-mail citing Swanburg’s team at (0 – 3), I became slightly disconcerted.
We weren’t on the schedule for the first week; something about missing flags and fields. We only played ten minutes the second week; something about darkness. Finally, we got killed the third week; something about lack of talent. Factor in the detail we were losing substantially when the second week’s game was called and my numbers put us at a respectable (0 – 1.5).
Alternatively, even if we assume the full loss for the second game, I refuse to believe we would have lost the first. Our team may not be the best, but I’m 97% confident we could beat an imaginary team, no matter how good you believed that imaginary team to be.
I’ll concede to (0 – 1.5), (1 – 2), or (0 – 2) but I will certainly not stand for the malarkey that is (0 - 3).
That is all.

Your team did not sign up like the seven other teams playing intramurals. The day before intramurals were set to start the 1L class officers asked if your team could be added late even though you missed the sign up deadline. We did not anticipate an eighth team b/c an eighth team did not sign up and there were not enough flags. We told your president this and she said your team would be happy to take a loss the first week if your team was allowed to play the other weeks. We then ordered extra flags so your team could play. And the second week you were losing when the game ended.
I was unaware of our higher-ups negotiations. I just saw there was a team at (1-1) and figured our missed game would count similarly as a bye. Such is life.
In that case we are now (0 - 4). A winning percentage identical to that had we been (0 - 2.5)
Haven't you lived in Texas long enough to learn that their is no humor in football losses.

I'm kind of surprised that you were not the creator of "Frankenhooker." It seems more like your kind of gig than Fahrenthold's.
I was actually in my own video called Frank & Hooker.

sorry swanburg, but chances are you would have lost to us in that 2nd game even had the game played to completion. while your record is 0-4, ours is 4-0... which means we kick ass.
