where is this information? has class rankings been released yet?
Dear Wharton,
I second Swanburg's comments. You are my hero. The fact that I am your friend brings honor to myself and my family.
Sincerely,
BC
What happened to Weston Fisher? Why wasn't his name on that list? Was there a moral character component of law review admission?
congrats to all of you, and just for people that are out of town and did not see the sign you are suppose to email the editor and cheif of Law Review to accept. Y'all are awesome.
did anyone grade on??? 3.35
Thanks for the info, 10:32.
Does anyone know whether we are to email Justin Hill (Spring 07 Editor in Chief) to accept, or is there a new one?
10:33,
I graded on with a 3.67, but I don't know what the cutt-off was.
Was 3.35 the cutoff for people grading on?
yes 3.35 was the grade on .. and email ethan lang
Could we possibly get some non-anonymous confirmation of the 3.35? Because either that's not right or this list isn't... and I don't want to e-mail anything that sounds like an accusation of errors on the grade-on list just on the word of an "anonymous."
(And I realize that it looks bad to ask for this while I'm posting anonymously, but if 3.35 isn't right and I make a big stink about how I should have made law review, I'll look like an idiot, so be kind and spare me that.)
According to this website (http://law.baylor.edu/HTML_site/LawReview/BLR_membership.html), there are three ways to make law review:
1. First-years can grade on by being top 15%.
2. Second-years grade on by having a GPA at least equal to the average of the past four classes of first-year grade-ons. (Maybe that's the 3.35, but I doubt it.)
3. 4+Q's can write-on during competitions in the fall and spring.
That URL didn't publish all the way. It's http://law.baylor.edu/HTML_site/LawReview/ BLR_membership.html
That's written on two lines, so you'll have to delete the space between "/LawReview/" and "BLR_membership.html".
