Welcome to 5Q
Fortunately for this blog, my plans of working have been replaced by the desire to spend the summer reading laminated case law from the comfort of a pool float.
In off chance you care or have books you want to sell, this quarter's lineup includes:
Negotiable Instruments, Secured Transactions, ConLaw (w/ Prof. Fed.Courts), Antitrust and the GMAT.
Baker is selling me his book for Secured with the caveat I need to buy my own U.C.C. In his words, "it's just something you're gonna wanna keep."

dude, classes this quarter are gonna be a blast. check out our con law book. it's bigger than our tax code.
i don't know how prof fed courts will run con law, but we never used our con law books. you may want to ask him about it--you may be able to get a refund.
"gonna wanna to keep it"??? was he drunk????
taking con law without experiencing Guinn is a travesty. he is an essential part of the Baylor law experience...i'm sad for you
Although Baker usually looks three scotches away from giving me a hug, the quote has been corrected to reflect his sobriety.
And yea, the book is hefty.
10:20 is right. Guinn and ConLaw at Baylor are synonymous. It's a shame you won't experience him - he really was just about the best prof I had.
it is tragic you won't have guinn...but even more tragic to have ryan....
no reason to buy the UCC - do you really think you're going to enjoy late nights w/ your own copy? Plus, a new one comes out every year - get the newest one when you actually do need it.
we never used the conlaw book, and you should definitely ask ryan if that is different.
Guinn is not that good of a teacher. Half the time during class you either can not hear what he is saying and the other half you don't understand what he is saying. He arbitrarly grades the exams too.
Guinn is a great teacher. No doubt
