Making the Band

In an effort to bring back the great traditions of SoTheBearSays, below you’ll see the first installment of Baylor Law Mix Tape Vol. 1

All we need now is a front-man, lead guitar, bass, drums and a touch of practice. Since I lack any semblance of musical talent I’m relying on you, the readers, to make this happen. The tentative performance schedule includes stops at law prom, immunity day, law buddy, and the occasional bar mitzvah.

Feel free to add your own songs or help name the band.

I think Keesee and Brent Hill play guitar and lee plays bass (well bass clef instruments so his profile says), Corbett plays drums and if you get a drummer who plays loud enough Thomas can sing

Don't know how the band feels about having a chick on vocals, but I used to be a singer in life before B-Law.
If you need me, holla.
Though, no one could ever really share a stage with Thomas...

Hollie sings amazingly. If you need keys, I'm short a bassist and I have a bit of experience with these sorts of things...

Matt

If Corbett does not play the drums loud enough, we might consider having two drummers, or earplugs for all guests.

I still have one good hand. I can shake some maracas or hit a gong or something...

I used to play bass, but don't anymore... not since "the accident".

*Insert spooky eiree music with eyeshifting.*

But what the hell, if I get to play a few 80s power ballades, I think I can pull through.

anon,

After (presumably it was you) your rant on Osler's blog, you don't allow anonymous comments?!

Name suggestions for your band:

"Trial and Error"
every law student's life

"Old Bailey's and Cream"
a tribute to the convergence of English common law and American 70's pop music

"Sua Sponte"
Latin, alliteration, independent initiative -- what more could you want? add some subtle sexual innuendo (or maybe that's just me)
