Learning the Ropes

The other interns arrived over the weekend and for the past two days I’ve been going through orientation - a process that involved learning about the company, our coworkers, and my tolerance for hearing the same story in repetition.

Tomorrow I get back to the work of making the world a better place . . . one new DISH customer at a time.

The slingbox is excellent. I used it when I was living in Switzerland. We hooked it up to may parents' DVR, recorded all of my favorite shows and I was able to watch them whenever I wanted. Plus, it was always a little amusing to change my parent's TV channel from halfway around the world when they were watching TV.

The slingbox is awesome, the only question I have is what did it have to do with Swnaburg's post about orientation?

I'll agree that orientation sucks. I had to sit through 2 hours of talk about benefits I don't get. That, and watch the most painfully old workplace safety, sexual harassment, and computer safety videos ever made.

The orientation was about SlingMedia, satellites, orbitals, analog bandwidth, high-definition, interactive features, programming, pride, adventure, winning and how it all ties together.

The picture of sling was as good as any.

I'm really loving the theme/design of your blog. Do you ever run into any internet browser compatibility problems? A handful of my blog readers have complained about my website not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Opera. Do you have any recommendations to help fix this problem?

I don't know whether it's just me or if perhaps everybody else encountering problems with your
website. It appears as if some of the text on your
posts are running off the screen. Can someone else please comment
and let me know if this is happening to them too? This might be a
issue with my internet browser because I've had this happen previously. Thank you

Hi! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering which blog platform are you using
for this site? I'm getting sick and tired of Wordpress because I've had
issues with hackers and I'm looking at options for another platform. I would be great if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.
